One of the things that I learned very quickly in my career as a high school teacher is that teenagers aren’t stupid.
You might ask the question; ‘Who would ever think they were stupid!’
My reply would be just look at what’s happening in our schools today. Teenagers are being told that men can be women and women can be men. Teenagers are being told that there’s no such thing as only two sexes - male and female. One teenager, Josh Alexander, has been suspended, excluded from his school and arrested for demonstrating against such nonsense.
Another case in point is the fiasco at the Oakville Trafalgar High School. The school board, right up to the Director of Education can seem deal with an employee who wears huge fake breasts while teaching. National Post reports:
In January, the board finally agreed to write a policy for teachers and staff to maintain “appropriate and professional” dress and decorum in the classroom. Curtis Ennis, the board’s director of education, was to provide an interim report on the dress code at Wednesday’s meeting.
An overflowing crowd came to hear his report . . .
After four hours of working through the board meeting’s agenda, Ennis finally gave his interim report on the dress code.
It wasn’t well received.
Instead of information on the policy’s direction or content, Ennis listed statues, laws, regulatory bodies and policy documents that the board would be “mindful of.” He defined what a policy is. And said stakeholders would be consulted but wasn’t sure who or how or when.
He offered little substance in answer to questions from trustees. . . .
Some members of the gallery complained of the bomb threats, classroom disruptions, others of not getting information. One woman shouted about “psychological and sexual abuse” of children. There were complaints of not understanding Ennis’s answers. Some just called out “shame” and “resign.”
“I’m afraid to send my son to school,” said one woman. . . .
“It is beyond frustrating and disappointing,” Celina Close, whose child attends the school and who is a spokesperson for a parents group called Students First Ontario, said after the meeting.
“The directors report that was shared contained nothing that indicates that an entire school board is doing anything to rectify the problems that we are experiencing. I have completely lost trust and faith in everyone involved.”

Don’t you think the teenagers in our schools see what’s going on and see the inability of school boards to deal with the crazy antics and nonsense of the WOKE nightmare Ontario schooling has become?
Don’t you think the teenagers in our schools see the double standards between enforcing student dress codes and lack of standards for teachers?
Don’t you think the teenagers in our schools haven’t lost trust and faith in our school system?
Or maybe you think their too stupid to see what’s going on.
What do the kids think?
“I was a little surprised,” said the young man about seeing his teacher dressed in shorts and prosthetic breasts for the first time.
“All this media attention, it shouldn’t be happening. The school should have set (dress code) guidelines.”
Many students are shocked by the teacher’s appearance and “a little weirded out,” he said. . . .
“I thought teachers were supposed to set the example for the students, not the other way around,” said an OTHS student by the name of Tony as he grabbed the mic.
It’s unbelievable that parents have to even protest, said Jana, who would only give her first name.

Another thing thirty years of teaching experience in high school has taught me is that when teenagers experience a double standard they rebel and some of them rebel in inappropriate ways. It’s no wonder administrators and teachers are losing control of Ontario schools;
Teenagers have been living a WOKE nightmare in schools and watching how the ‘adults’ handle it. They are not stupid and we (adults) have failed them.
Could any adult—parent, concerned community member, school board trustee, school administrator or teacher - be considered stupid if they don’t see that the problem won’t get better until these nonsensical, paralysing, damaging WOKE ideologies are dismantled!
Ontario’s public school system must be decolonized of its WOKENESS.
Thank you Tony. I will share.
